The ironic thing is, we KNOW what we need to do to be healthier. We "should" be eating whole foods, watching our sugar, caffeine, and processed food intake, and sweating more often.
But we often lack the MOTIVATION and INSPIRATION
to find a consistent balance.
THIS IS WHERE I COME IN.
Hi, I'm Laura. I'm a mother, teacher, runner, and coach.
As a foodie and and fitness afficionado, my passion is helping women just like me find a healthy balance. In my 40+ years on this planet, I've been up and down in my weight and have had periods of complete fitness and confidence (hello, Boston Marathon!), and periods of excess weight and horrible body image. Nowadays? After two kids, there's a few new stretch marks and a couple of belly rolls. I'm far from my Half Ironman fitness.
But I can truly say I'm HEALTHY and that I'm comfortable with my body.
I love what it's capable of, and what it allows me to do.
Every day I treat my body right through healthy habits. I'm not perfect, but I drink lots of water, eat lots of greens, move my body every day, and enjoy the baked goodies at my favourite local cafe.

If a certain workout doesn't fit with your lifestyle, within your time constraints, or fails to keep your attention, it ain't workin' for you! Are you a walker, yogi, or runner? Do you have an at-home workout you used to love collecting dust on a shelf? Do you need guidance to find a sustainable activity? I'll help you choose an exercise -- and frequency -- that you can stick to.

As I said at the start, we KNOW what we should be eating, yet often lack the motivation to stick to it. What's worked for you in the past? Last year I was 15 pounds over my "normal" after having my second child and was struggling to get off. My nutrition was good and I was moving every day, but the weight wasn't budging. I decided to join Laura's spring group and selected the 21 Day Fix. The daily workouts were short, modifiable, and I could fit them in when my youngest was napping. The portion containers were easy to understand and take with me when I was on the go. I also incorporated Shakeology which was a great way for me to always have a fast and nutritious breakfast or snack. Laura set me up in a supportive Facebook group where I met lots of people trying to lose various amounts of weight but for similar reasons. I plan out my shopping trips and meals, I build healthy treats into my day so I don't feel deprived and I've stayed active. I make sure I'm active for 30 minutes each day and I still enjoy drinking Shakeology. There are no excuses for me to eat an unhealthy snack when I can make a chocolate shake that tastes great. In the last 30 days, I've gone from eating one meal a day to eating two balanced meals and two balanced snacks. Despite more than doubling my food intake, I've put on less than a pound of weight (!!!) and have lost an inch around my hips and waist each. I also see more muscle definition in my arms, legs, and tummy, I have more energy than I have ever had, and just feel so much happier and better about myself in general!
Laura understands the struggles one faces to get in shape (physical challenges and mental blocks). Her support and coaching motivates me (and I'm sure others too!) to stay fit and eat clean.
