Well, the second half of February went by in a blink of an eye.
My second son was born on Friday February 12th and we have been cozied up in newborn bliss. I know what’s to come in about 3 week’s time when he goes through his first “leap”, so I am taking advantage of this sleepy stage where he will sleep in any position, any time. Our favourite spot is on my chest under a warm blanket.
But I am turning my eye to a new month. While I will be taking the necessary time to recuperate and allow myself to slowly get into the groove of being a mom to 2-under-2, I do need to tune-up some habits both personal and health related.
Here’s what I am committing to for the month of March:
:: less mindlessly surfing the internet and more reading (fiction and non-fiction)
:: less sugar and more greens
:: less processed foods and more meal planning/prepping
:: less clutter and more purging
:: less sitting and more walking
and more relaxing baths, me-time, 1:1 time with my toddler, and 1:1 time with my husband (when we can get it!).
If all goes according to plan with my recovery, I should be ready to start back into a fitness routine at the end of the month — just in time to launch a spring accountability group to keep me on track!
What are you committing to this month? Let me know below!
