Who’s diet could use a little spring cleaning?
I indulged a little too much with the Easter candy and am feeling the need to eliminate the white stuff! Time for a sugar detox!
Our bodies don’t need sugar to function and it doesn’t add any nutrients to our diets. Reducing sugar has a host of benefits — it will not only help you lose weight, curb cravings and feel better, it will also cut your risk for diseases like type 2 diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer.
For five days next week, we’ll limit our sugar intake, learn how to identify hidden sugars, and a how to live without it.
We will start on Monday April 4th and for five days you will receive an email with sugar-busting tips and a mini-challenge designed to motivate and support you. Each night you will meet me in a private Facebook group to check in and tell us how you did. It is free to join but I really encourage you to PARTICIPATE — no lurking! The time commitment is minimal and you will start to feel better by day 5 if you stick with it. This could be the start to a healthy spring!
